This Privacy Policy explains how Davar Church (a church based in the United States, with a branch in Japan; "the Church," "we") handles data in connection with the Davar Church App (the "app") for iPhone and iPad. The app is a members-only service and is not intended for the general public; access requires credentials provided by the Church.
The app itself contains no advertising or analytics SDKs and does not track you. On the server side, we collect only the following:

The app does not request or collect your name, email address, phone number, photos, contacts, or precise location.
The primary authentication method is a shared church password common to all members; it is not a uniquely identifying personal account. Sign in with Apple is not provided in the current version.
We do not use this data for advertising, third-party marketing, or user profiling.
The Bible AI chat uses Anthropic's Claude API to generate answers. When you use the chat, your question text (and up to the last several turns of the conversation) is sent to Anthropic for processing to generate a response. Anthropic's handling of this data is governed by its commercial terms; under those terms, API inputs are not used to train its models. See Anthropic's privacy policy.
The app's backend (content delivery and chat relay) runs on servers operated by the Church. We do not sell or rent your data, and we do not share it with any third party other than Anthropic as described above.
Chat question text and related hashes are stored on servers operated by the Church (based in the United States); part of the AI answer generation runs on Anthropic's servers in the United States. If you use the app from outside the United States (including Japan), your data may be transferred to and processed in the United States. We retain chat data only as long as necessary for the purposes above; the temporary login IP used for rate limiting expires automatically after a short window.
The app is intended for members of Davar Church, including families, and younger members may use it under a family member's guidance. The app is not directed to children and is not designed to knowingly collect personal information from children.
To request deletion of chat question data, or for any privacy-related question, contact [email protected]. Because the current login is a shared password (not tied to an individual account), the app does not currently offer in-app account deletion; this will be provided once individual accounts are introduced.
This Policy may be updated as the app evolves. Material changes will be posted at this URL.
本プライバシーポリシーは、Davar Church(米国の教会、日本支部あり。以下「当教会」)が提供する iPhone / iPad 向けアプリ 「Davar Church App」(以下「本アプリ」)におけるデータの取り扱いを説明します。本アプリは会員専用サービスであり一般公開されていません。ご利用には教会から提供される認証情報が必要です。
収集する情報: 本アプリ自体には広告 SDK・アクセス解析 SDK は含まれておらず、利用状況のトラッキングは行いません。サーバー側では以下のみを収集します。

本アプリは、氏名・メールアドレス・電話番号・写真・連絡先・正確な位置情報を要求または収集しません。
主な認証方法はメンバー間で共有される教会共通パスワードに基づくもので、個人を一意に識別するアカウントではありません。現行版では Sign in with Apple を提供していません。
利用目的: チャット質問文と匿名化された質問ログ識別子 = よくある質問の把握とコンテンツ改善のため / 一時的な IP アドレス = ログイン機能の不正利用防止(レート制限)のため / 認証トークン = ログイン状態の維持と、セッションごとの利用回数制限(チャットのレート制限)のため。広告配信・第三者マーケティング・プロファイリングには一切使用しません。
第三者による処理(AI): Bible AI チャットは回答生成に Anthropic 社の Claude API を利用します。利用時、質問文(および直近の会話履歴の一部)が回答生成のため Anthropic のサーバーへ送信・処理されます。Anthropic におけるデータの取り扱いは同社の商用利用条件に従い、当該条件のもとで API への入力はモデル学習に使用されません。Anthropic のプライバシーポリシーをご参照ください。本アプリのインフラ(コンテンツ配信・チャット中継)は当教会が運用するサーバー上で稼働します。データの販売・貸与は行わず、上記 Anthropic 以外の第三者への提供も行いません。
保管場所・保存期間: チャット質問文・ハッシュは当教会が運用するサーバー(米国拠点)に保管され、AI 回答生成の一部は米国の Anthropic 社サーバーで行われます。米国外(日本を含む)からのご利用では、データが米国へ転送・処理される場合があります。チャットデータは上記目的に必要な期間のみ保持し、レート制限用の一時的な IP は短時間で自動的に期限切れとなります。
セキュリティ: 通信は全て HTTPS(TLS)で暗号化 / 認証トークンは端末の Keychain にのみ保存し平文パスワードは端末に保存しない / ログイン試行にはレート制限を適用。
お子様について: 本アプリは Davar Church の会員(家族を含む)を対象としており、年少の会員がご家族の指導のもとで利用する場合があります。本アプリは児童を対象としておらず、児童から意図的に個人情報を収集する設計にはなっていません。
ユーザーの権利・お問い合わせ: チャット質問データの削除依頼やプライバシーに関するご質問は [email protected] までご連絡ください。現行(共通パスワード方式)では個人アカウントに紐づく削除機能はアプリ内にありません。個人アカウント制への移行後に、アプリ内からの削除機能を提供予定です。
変更について: 本ポリシーはアプリの進化に応じて更新されることがあります。重要な変更はこの URL で公開します。
